Gender Based Violence and Intimate Partner Violence against women, and girls is one of the most prevalent human rights violations in the world. It knows no social, economic or national boundaries.
Gender-based violence (GBV),or violence against women and girls (VAWG) , is a global pandemic that affects 1 in 3 women in their lifetime.
About 1 in 4 women and nearly 1 in 10 men have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime and reported some form of IPV-related impact.
We partner with community stakeholders, traditional rulers, market women, artisans, LGA’s ,CDA’s, Religious Institutions, Schools, Primary Health Care Centers, Organizations and other relevant groups to raise awareness against GBV and IPV, provide preventive measures and sensitize stakeholders on their role as respondents in their various communities.
